Lee Jackson, tenor, Anything Goes
"I think I'm in over my head."

Lee Jackson, our tenor, was 70 years old when he joined the Leisure World Chordsmen Chorus and the St. Croix Chordsmen in Stillwater, MN. Prior to that, as an electrical engineer, he worked on a space program guidance system. It's a miracle that they hit the moon at all -- they were aiming at Mars! Lee joined Anything Goes in 2013, and brings unlimited energy to the stage; a welcomed addition, since the quartet needs all the energy it can get! On a serious note, Lee doesn't have any serious notes.

Del WiesnerDel sang lead for many years with a quartet called "The Silver Haired Daddies." He's also sung and performed at numerous conventions, with other choruses and symphony chorus, and with some community theater groups. Del can't claim to have a degree in anything, as he was always busy being self-employed. He said he started singing "late in life" (well, that's what HE calls age 48 -- just wait) and loved it! He's always enjoyed doing crazy things. Singing with Anything Goes could very well be the craziest thing he's ever done! Del's passions in life are his lovely wife of more than 50 years, Kay; barbershop, and drag racing.

"What did I get myself into here?"

Norm Wolfe, bass, Anything Goes
"I feel like a newborn baby..."

Norm Wolfe, the bass, is a retired schoolteacher. He sang with the Seek-A-Tones of Deep River, Iowa, for 6 years back when Eisenhower was President. He then formed the world-famous Drifters, which entertained dozens of folks for the next 4 years. In 1972 he formed the Roadrunners, (...make sure your browser is set to allow Pop-Ups from this Web site!) winning the 1972 District Championship, and brought humor throughout the U.S. and Canada for more than 30 years before their final performance in 2009. He could write a book....

See how he got here. (...make sure your browser is set to allow Pop-Ups from this Web site!)

Jim Milner, our baritone, started his barbershop career in 1978 in Albuquerque with the New Mexichords. He then moved and sang with the New Braunfels chorus in San Antonio, the Phoenicians in Phoenix, the Scottsdale chorus, and with the Paradise Valley chorus. Jim attended Harmony College in 1984, and joined AHSOW in 1988. He has quartetted with the Yucca Flats, Chord Street and Four Ever Young, and currently with Hospitality. His interests are in quartets, coaching, and some arranging; but mostly encouraging quartets.

Jim Milner, baritone, Anything Goes
"I love it when a plan (or four guys) come together."
